Coquitlam Crunch Welcomes Wiivv as Medal Sponsor

CRUNCH TIME Whether by bike or on foot, Team Wiivv was out over the weekend encouraging athletes of all stripes to #KeepGoing, first at the GranFondo 2016 expo, as a Gold sponsor of 2016 Triathlon BC Athlete Gala, and cheering on participants at the Coquitlam Crunch Diversity Challenge. The popular trail east of Vancouver clocks in at just under 5k round-trip - with a grueling 437 steps to the top. The Challenge aims to get as many people as possible outside, and moving regardless of ability: unlike the notorious Grouse Grind part of the Crunch trail is paved, making it more wheelchair accessible. 9 Things That Are Ruining Your Metabolism

1. NOT ENOUGH WATER. Your body is made of 60% water, and since while you're sleeping it doesn't get any for 6-8 hours, the very first thing you should do in the morning to kick start your metabolism, is have a big glass! We need to be constantly filling up our body’s tank with around 2 liters per day. 7 Things Your Feet Say About Your Health

Many of us really do not love our feet (believe me, I'm one of them). However, if they say that your eyes are the window to your soul, then your feet are the window to your circulatory system, nervous system, and  thyroid. Although we often ignore the hairy little eye sores that carry us throughout the day, it's time we started looking down to see what's really going on with our bodies.  HAIRLESS FEET AND TOES What it might mean: Serious circulation problems There is nothing worse than hairy toes during sandal season. However, as unattractive as you may think it is, it's a sign of good health. Sudden baldness can be a sign that your feet aren’t getting enough blood...

What Aging Does To Your Feet

They've been with you since you were born, and they will be with you until the day you die. Your feet have carried you through thick and thin, and even though they've always been there for us, most of us ignore them. Your feet are the unsung heroes of your body. As we age, our body changes. Our hair starts to gray, our knuckles stiffen up, back starts to ache, and your eyes start to go... But what about your feet? These are 7 of the things that aging does to your feet as you grow older. 1. FAT VANISHES. Mother nature was kind enough to provide humans with a built-in insole. The cushioned pads on the bottoms of our feet....
