How are you able to get accurate measurements of my foot?

The photos that you take using your smartphone give us the raw information we need to create an accurate 3D model of your foot.

The first two photos are taken against a standard US letter sized piece of paper to offer scale, and the other two photos are taken of your medial arch (inner arch). (For more on the paper, and why you can't use A4 paper, see here.)

We then use computer vision to analyze your foot. Using our product customization engine, we create a 3D-printable file, and use SLS 3D-printing to create a made-for-you insole.

As a side note—we use a 5th photo of just the background which gives our computer vision team the data they require to decipher your foot from the background.
